World War Z - Listening Comprehension Exercise!

* This YouTube clip was truncated using the website TubeChopwww.tubechop.com.  Super-easy to use.
** The questionnaire was created via Google Forms.

Many thanks to my awesome in-class lab parner, Aaram Kim!!

  1. Zack...you're my hero! I love this post. You managed to combine two technologies into one blog post in an instructional way...awesome! I think I nailed the quiz! The fun thing about google forms is that you can share the link to students who can submit the answers right from their smartphones while watching the clip in class. This is a great way to improve listening comprehension and to make sure students are paying attention. I like how the questions were spread out, too, so all of the answers didn't come at once. I really had to focus during that intense scene! :)

  2. Torrey,

I wanted to thank you for your kind words AND INSPIRATION. This is belated, I know, but it's important that I express that. You're very good at the positive reinforcement stuff -- so on behalf of my fellow becoming-a-bit-more-tech-savvy students, keep that up! You're doing a kickass job.
